Does anyone knows why I can not use all my medpro ports.
If I do a list config i will see the following:

01D13 IP MEDIA PROCESSOR TN2302AP HW18 FW118 01 03 05 07

IF am correct it should show all ports (1 to 8)

Who knows what I am missing in my config?

Please check: status media-processor board
what it will show u????
Its not related to ur programming...

When i do a satus media-processor I will get the following :

I ve got 7 medpro located in three PN but in everycard
I only see port 1,3,5,7

I checked another customer of ours and there it shows :

01B04 IP MEDIA PROCESSOR TN2302AP HW21 FW110 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08

Any ideas?

This is how the TN2302AP shows up because of it's hardware design, this is normal as each DSP supports 8 or 16 channels, depending upon what codec is used (G711 uses 1 channel per call, G729 or other compressed codecs use 2 per call).

AVAYA has an explanation of this on the support website that I have seen before.
