Media set question

Hey,

I have a sony AIT 16 tape library and Veritas Backup Exec V10. created media sets and assigned tapes into them. now i need to run a one off job, so i took out the first 2 tapes from the Slot 1 and Slot 2. they belonged to media setup called "Weekly Full" and it contains 5 tapes in it in the first 5 Slots. now when i try to run a one off job it starts using tapes in the following slots. For example after i created a job and assigned a media setup (which i setup brand new and used brand new tapes), the job picks slot 3 and loads it. i cancel it and resubmit the job and job starts to use slot 4 and so on. Anyway i can make it use the specific media set that i created?

Partition the library - sound like you want it to goto certain slots

Just a side note if set a job to a partition and you fill up the tape it will not go outside tha partition to pick up another tape

yep noticed that too. i guess if i need to add more tapes then i'll change partitions later
