My network guy wanted me to move some patch cables around for my 8700 to clean up some data switches. One of them was for a Media-Processor. So I moved it to another switch like he asked, but now if I do a "sta media-p all" I see that:

Slot Code Mj Mn Wn Pr Cl El Dup St
01A07 TN2302 0 0 0|na|na|up|n/a|n/a

Shouldn't the state be active?

I tried busying out the board and releasing it. It passed everything and stayed the same.

run 'stat media-p 01a07' and 'stat ip-board 01a07'

looks like it's up to me. Try to ping it from your PC.

Also make an IP call and you should see your dsp resouces go active.

If you moved it to another switch port make sure that ports speeds match on both ends. If you 'disp ip-inter 01a07' you will see your port speed, probably 100/full. Make sure your Cisco switch is also forced to 100/full. Strange things can happen when they are not the same.

My other Media-Proc show the CL and ST as up. I forgot to look before I made this switch so maybe it is no big deal. But seems very odd to me.

I have a TN2302 and a TN2602. How could I check to make sure all of my resources are active? Would it be a list meas tone sum?
