Media Player embedding into our ColdFusion page

We have to incorporate Windows Media Player in our browser pages.
While uploading movies on the server we would like to check the duration of the movie before it is actually being uploaded.
Is this possible in ColdFusion and if yes... how???
Are there any sites that can give us more relevant information on embedding Microsoft Media Player with ColdFusion onto your browser?
