I have a problem that I cant figure out. For some reason it will not play in a browser. I can see the bar with the play controls like play, stop, etc.. but they are all greyed out. The only thing I can use is the volume control and the mute button. There is a white box that would be the window where the video is played but it is empty and it is partially black around the control bar on top. The player is spawned sometimes and plays the media outside the browser but it never works inside the browser. Any help would be great. Thanks

Have you checked out the check boxes in IE/ Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced/ Multimedia.

I checked all that and nothing has worked yet. Thanks though

I finally figured it out. I had to re-register the activex control.

"regsvr32 MSDXM.OCX" from the run window or dos prompt and now it works.
