We are running Brighstor 9 Build 2040 on Windows NT 4.0 SP6a and using SQL 7.0 for the database (local install). This system originally had an issue with reporting 0 mb written when viewing the media details through device manager. After the 9.01 update, and patch 4a on top of that, we get a value, but it returns a GB value rather than a MB value.
Example:
I did a backup that wrote 1,097.53 MB onto the media. The job log reports the correct amount. If I do a scan of the media, it reports the correct amount. If I open device manager and look at the media details it reports "MB written 1"
If I open the "asdb" database in SQL and look at the "astpdrv" table, the "tdttlkbwritten" column shows 1097. It's like it lost 3 decimal places. I have a ticket open with CA, but so far no success.
BTW, we have the same build installed on a W2K Adv Srv SP3 with SQL 2K SP3, and have the same issue.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
