Media Encoder Unresponsive

I have just purchased the full licence of Adobe Premiere Pro 2. After installation I tested the Export facility using Adobe Media Encoder but when I click File>Export>Media Encoder nothing happens.

Is the window minimised somewhere or what could have happened?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
