ME network adapters / dial-up adapters 1

How do you reinstall the dial up adapter in ME under the Network icon in the control panel? Can't add it the same way as in Win 9x. I searched the Microsoft knowledge base and found an artical, but the instructions didn't seem to work. Anyone overcome this problem? Thanks.

I had that problem on one machine...I just uninstalled it from Add/Remove Programs/Windows Setup, rebooted, reinstalled it, rebooted and there it was...I seem to remember a while back someone else trying what I did but it didn't work...have no clue why...

Thanks. What you suggest is in the Microsoft knowledge base and that's what I tried. It didn't work out for me, but It's good to know that it worked for somebody. Maybe I need to just try it again. Thanks for the input.
