I was playing a game and quit out of it. only to have my pc lock up. I tried to end the task but didn't work so I powered down. Now when it restarts it gives me a "NTLDR missing hit any key to restart" I do that and it just posts the same response.. any help is much appreciated.

Do you have a start-up disk"? If so put it in the computer, re-start and you will be prompted with 4 choices. Choose 4 (minimal boot), then you will be at the A:\ DOS prompt.
Type C: then type SCANREG /RESTORE then choose a date when you know the computer was working properly.
