Ok, I've been out of the game since the CAT OS days and I can't find anything on Cisco.com. I need to test fail-over between the sups but cannot find a command to do so. Anyone familiar with these? My bailiwick is the Catalyst series, not SAN. thanks.

The command system switchover will force the switch to swap active and standby supervisors.

So you want to test failover of the MDS 9509, not a Cat6509?

Yes, I am working with a MDS 9505. Hopefully the command dtobin referrenced is available on this IOS.
