MDE Errors

what can be the reason , when i make MDE file, i get an error message , "Microsoft ACCESS was unable to create mde database"

Check your code. In a VB window pick Debug, Compile ... That should tell you if there are errors. [sig][/sig]

This is a error message that I have come across occaisionally that there seems to be no real hard fast explaination for. I have sometimes gotten this message even when I had no errors in my code. I've taken the same database and moved it to another computer and was able to successfully create the mde file without changing anything.
I'm suspecting that it has something to do with the mdw file or the memory or disk space needed to crunch the database while making the conversion. Try copying the database to another computer that has Access on it and see if that works. [sig][/sig]
