mdbdata log filling c drive

I am all of a sudden seing my c drive fill up. I looked at the mdbdata log and there is 800 meg in the log files coming from one of our servers alerts. Can I delete the mdbdata logs to get my space back, or will an online backup clean this issue?

To teh best of my knowledge you can delete all but the last 7 days. How ever I would first just move most of them to another server and keep them until you are happy
