Hello,

Does anyone know why a .mdb file would be blocked from Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR1 as a file attachment. It tells me its a potenially unsafe document, even though its my own created microsoft database. I have gone into Tools/Options/Security and made everything that I know of a low security status? Any help would be appreciated.

If you're on a corporate network, it's probably their firewall settings blocking it. You would probably have to zip the file and transmit it, then unzip it.

Hi there, I have found out that its a Microsoft Security Patch that is causing it. I am looking for a way to edit the registry or uninstall the security patch if it allows me too. I actually suggested the zip format and that was not a "good enough answer" from the Manager.

Thanks Though!
