I am planning to install windows XP on my machine. Windows XP comes with mdac 2.7, but the minimal requiremnts to install mdac 2.7 is win 98. I have several programs written in VB that I run on windows 95 machines(with mdac 2.6 installed on them). So my problem is after I install windows Xp I may not be able fix bugs on programs that I run on 95. Is there a work around to this problem? Or can I install mdac 2.7 on win 95 machines?

Mdac 2.7 and Windows 95

FWIW, I believe you can install MDAC2.7 on Win95; however, I dont believe Microsoft supports this type of installation. Review
