Is there any restriction on the number of files written to a network directory? I am building a tool that creates text files. 500+ users across the office will have access to the tool and in theory they could all write a new text file to the lan directory at the same time. Will this cause a problem if it did occur?

Also is there any limit on copying a file at the same time? i.e. is it likely to cause error if 500 people tried to copy a file from the lan directory to their local machines?

Cheers

ull have lags when they all read/write at the same time, usally that wont happen sice only a max number of users can connect to a share at the same time, u can alter that setting on the share tab max connections
