Hi,

What is the maximum number of unique ActiveX controls/components that can be placed in a VB Form or usercontrol?

VB^ Limitations shows that the limit is 254 unique controls on a form. However, a control array, only counts as 1 unique control...

You should try and stay below 120 "heavy" controls (controls other than Labels). It's been the common experience that when you get too many controls on a form, bad things start to happen.
