Maximum Characters in Excluded Processes

Hi,

Just found out that there is a maximum character of 1000 in the excluded processes list on VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i on ePO 3.5.

We use the method to block all inbound ports from 1 - 65534 excluding a number of executable files all separated by a comma. It has been working well until we hit the 1000th character..

McAfee has told me that it is the same in ePO 3.6 so the only advise was to log a FMR.

Just thought you all should know.
