Maximizer import

I am trying to do a Maximizer import into a new GM 6.5 dbase install. I thought that i would simply use the GM profile built for this purpose. However, I ran into a little problem very quickly. The system gets to a point and then states that I must create a data source for the Maximizer system. My problem is that I have not been able to find detailed instruction on creating this data source. Can someone either direct me to the instructions or explain just how this is done? I went to the Data Source function within XP but once there didn't really know what to do.

The data source would be a ODBC datasource using the Maximizer ODBC driver.

This should be available on the machine with Maximiser installed.

there's a MAXIMPORT.EXE utility on the Frontrange support site. It's made for GoldMine 5.x, but you might be able to fool it into working with 6.0...
