A co-worker and I have a disagreement about the max number of ISDN PRIs allowed in a single trunk group on Avaya CM5.2. I remember hearing that there was a max of 10 PRIs per single trunk group, but can't find the documentation. He says that the 10 PRI limit is only for DS1s in a port-network (which we both agree on) and there is no limit for PRIs in a single trunk group. He has tried to build a trunk group with 11 PRIs, and the last set of B-channels will not come on line. If we break the PRIs into two groups of 5 & 6, they all come up just fine. (From the carrier side, there is one trunk group with two NFAS signal groups, 5 in one and 6 in the other, with a Primary and Secondary D channel in each group.)

Can anyone point us towards documentation one way or the other? He will never take my word for it, even if he is right. [glasses]
