Hi guys,

I am becoming nuts trying to match two match jump returns (i don´t know if that is the right word in English) but there is no way. Both have a different size as you can see in the picture. I try the eyedropper, giving the the same paragraph style, font type and so on...but there is still one larger in size than the other.

I need to have them both in the same size to have a consistent table space separation as well as the distance from the text to the border of the table.

How do you match does Jump Returns or Spaces properly?

Thanks for any info!

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hi sebastian,

This happens because the paragraph line is differend.

You could make a paragraph style to make all returns the same in the document.
Then select the line where the table is in, and apply the style. Don't select the table contens :). just the line.

you can see it more clearly if you use the edit mode (apple+y).

Hope this helps

Marcel

I can see from the image that the paragraph returns are not the same size - despite your indication that they are.

If the leading was 12 pt for both of them then the space would be consistent. The important thing here is the leading.

Of course you should look at the Table Options for the Space Before and After for the tables as they can be different.

Hi MVerschuren,

Thanks for the good Tip!

Is kind of hard to select just the line. I did sometime apply the same paragraph but the returns looks small. I will try the Edit Mode better then.

Do you know if after i make a Paragraph Style for all returns is there any way to change them all at once with GREP?

THanks again!

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hi Eugene,

Thanks for the info! I did try to change the leading by introducing the numbers while standing on the line but after a while it does reset back again. It is strange because both have the same paragraph style.

I did not try Space After option...i try and see what happens.

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hi Eugene,

I will try that and see how that works!

Thanks,
