MAT : cannot delete stations on OPT11c

hi

I have nortel system. From the station admin menu I cannot delete stations.
If I go to CPND and scroll down to list of users I get windows protection fault and the window closes.

Any ideas I am new to this system.

98 percent of the users here, and anywhere else will not touch otm..works great (slow) until you need it.. form command line

the software is Mat 6.6
OS is windows 98
I deleted a station from station admin windows and it shows status as OUT but it doesn't allow me to use the location.

Upon some more study I understand that the station wont be deleted from MAT until the database is synchronized with meridian 1 system.

About few weeks ago a station was marked "out" and is still not deleted. I scheduled synchronization but that job is shown in scheduler but never completed.

Any ideas how to go from here to make sure whats wrong for not syncing ...

OTM is simply not ready for prime time.

If you open up the Stations window select syncronize and then transmit you will see a selection for LOG. View the LOG and it should let you know why it didn't sync. Try to do a Reconcile. This will remove any sets in MAT that are not in the switch. Also do a retrieve all to bring the MAT database current to what is in the switch. You may want to schedule both of those task to be done on a regular basis because any changes made from the TTY will not be in MAT until the Retreive and any sets outed at the TTY will be in MAT until the Reconcile.

I would do as mluckie1 stated. FYI If your still using MAT you can still upgrade to OTM 2.2 but once OTM goes to it's next rev. you will need to purchase it as new. Not to sure what the cost difference is but just a thought.
