Master/factory reset on a WIT-400HE wireless LAN phone

We have several IPECS WIT-400HE handsets in the building, one of which an employee has manager to set a pass code on and forget.

I have trawled the net looking for how to get around or reset this but have had no joy.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Try a factory reset.

From the service manual:
There is the ‘test mode’ of the handset to check whether its features and operations are OK or not.
Please press buttons in order as following : *, 4, 2, 6, 8, 5, #, ‘Send’.

After entering the ‘Test Mode’ and then select ‘9. Factory Reset’ menu. The ‘Factory Reset’ mode let the
current setting initialize the default setting. Acoustic parameters and gains are initialized depending on
‘Release Country’ setting. Refer to Figure 16.

I am trying your suggestion but having no luck. There is no button which says 'Send' so I've tried a few different ones but no joy.

I presume this can be done from the lock screen? because that's the only screen I have access to.
