I've spent the last 2 hours reading previous post's and i can't find this one!!
I have a Windows2000 Advanced Server installation running AD as a PDC.
If i have a user with normal user rights and i log into the domain through an XPpro client - great. Fast loggins and fast access to shares / net etc.
BUT
If i grant the same user some adim rights (adding them to the DOMAIN admins group or Internal Administrators), the same XPclient takes 30+ minutes to log in!
(Infact i have no idea how long it would take as 30 minutes is the longest i've waited before shutting the workstation down.)
I've tried several XPclients and they are all the same.
I've tried adding the group policy fix for waiting untill the network is ready and it's still the same.
Please help this is driving me nuts!!
