Greetings. I have set up a email system in Access 2000 to loop through a recordset and send each record a personalized email. Two problems:

1) I have the email function set up on a command button. When I click the command button, it sends out the email. If I leave the form and come back, the command button does not work. Any ideas?

2) Since we could be sending hundreds of emails at a time, I do not want the verification window to pop up for each email. Is there a way to suppress the "Program is trying to automatically send an email on your behalf. Do you want to allow this?"

Thanks in advance

1) I assume you are using SendObject to send the Email. I've encountered the same problem when attempting to send mail again in the same session. My solution was to use Outlook objects. You can do the same if you use Outlook as the email client. Download code for an "Access 2000 SendMessage Function" from my web site.

2) The message, "Program is trying to automatically send an email on your behalf. Do you want to allow this?" is the result of Microsfot's security efforts. See the following Knowledgebase articles.
