Mask Extenstions

I have downloaded several masks,but they are not showing in
my browse. I have added .msk to my extenstions,but with no luck.Could you tell me what I am doing wrong?

What extension do the masks have? Have you downloaded them into the correct folder? Can you open them in PSP?

Thank you for responding. They are in .msk format and no
they won't open in PSP.I looked at them in ACDsee and then converted them to .jpeg, which worked.
