MAS 90 and printing Question

I have recently been assigned to a client using MAS 90, and I am unfamiliar with the program. The one odd problem we have been coming across is with printing. I want to know if anyone else has encountered a problem like this, and any possible solution:

The client has a printer directly connected to her computer. This printer is used ONLY for printing checks. The first check she prints for the day, prints incorrectly, then every check after that for the day, prints fine. Even if she closes MAS 90 and restarts. Does this sound like a MAS 90 problem, or a hardware (the printer) problem?

If anyone has any ideas, help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you be a little more specific with how it is printing "incorrectly", Is it missaligned, missing information, printing garbage etc etc. Also two other quickies, is the client using graphical forms and what version of MAS90 and the OS would be helpful.

I have seen printing issues with DOT MATRIX printers and MAS90 Windows versions.
