Does anyone know of any way to map through a share to a subdirectoty with a 98 client? For example, if I have Finance$ as a share and I want to assign a drive letter to the directory Debtors under finance$, 98 won't let me use:

net use z: \\myserver\finance$\debtors

Please tell me that there is another way and that I don't just have to create debtors as a share....please tell me this....please....

Don't think you can. You can't use SUBST either because 98 clients won't let you do that over networks.
Just create a new debtors share...

I can map \\myserver\finance$ if I want - that's not the problem. I need to map through this share to the debtors sub-directory. I don't want a list of shares as long as my arm just because I can't map through a share to a subdir. However, having read through the Knowledge Base on TechNet, I'm beginning to feel this may be another "feature" of Win98. Anyone else?
