I am very new at SMS, but I am having problems finding info on mapping a users share with SMS. I got other network drives to map but I can't figure out how to get the user name to automatically be pulled from the loggin info. Is there some type of switch that looks at the user loggin name and uses that for the mapping of the drive?

SMS is a delivery system not a scripting program so you may find doing scripted tasks such as mapping drive letters is difficult. I'd look into using KiXtart or other program for logon scripting. If you're using W2K then there are already built-in scripting controls.

One other thing to consider is abandoning the use of drive letters. If you have legacy applications that require drive letter then you may have a reason to keep them, but a plan should be put into place to sunset this requirement. Using UNC is definitely an easier way.
