I have a number of NT4 Workstations which connect to a CAD domain.

On these PC's we need to map a couple of drives to shared folders on other servers. We go through the process and everything is fine. It asks for the password and then maps the drive which works fully.

However after we reboot the password is not prompted for and when you explore the PC the drive is there but you cannot access it as it says the password is incorrect, but we haven't had the chance to provide a password.

Any ideas how to fix this. It's happening only on the PC's on the domain and is the same for any new drives mappings we make.

Thanks in advance.

It sounds to me like a trust issue, if there is no trust relationship set up on the server, you are going to have to enter the password everytime, for it to work right you are going to have add these pc's onto the same domain as the server or are they both already on the same domain?
What operating system is the cad server?
