Mapped Drives Not saved - Win XP Pro

I have one machine on my domain, rather it is one profile. that just will not save new drive mappings. The shares are located on a Win 2000 Server.

The user has a few Mappings that required pswd for a seperate server, and after renaming her profile and allowing it to recreate on next logon, those mappings were still present. And to top it all off she is still unable to save new mappings.

I could just create a script, but would like to get to the bottom of the profile issue. Should I have just deleted her old profile?
