I have a program that uses MAPI Controls. The program runs fine on every machine except one. I get an error message 'Class definition MAPI.SESSION is not found. The only things different about that machine and the others is that it had 98 and was upgraded to 2000 (the others came with 2000), and it has Office XP and the others have Office 2000 prof. The Mapi.dll and mapi32.dll are in the system32 folder. Can anyone HELP!

Thanks,
Anthony

Does MSMAPI32.ocx exist in the system folder? Try registering it.

FWIW, in v6 of the MAPI controls, the ProgID is MSMAPI.MAPISESSION Jon Hawkins

It does exist in the system folder and I registered it. I also changed the program to use MSMAPI.MAPISESSION and now I am getting a different error 'OLE error code Ox80040112: Class is not licensed for use'. I have tried registering the MSMAPI32.OCX several times and it tells me it was successfull, but I still get the error. I am also receiving it on stations, that the program ran on before changing it to MSMAPI.MAPISESSION. Any help with this new error!

Thanks,
Anthony
