I have a legacy program that will only print to an LPT or COM port. My problem is that the printer I am my client is using is USB. Does anyone know of a way to map a USB to LPT port???

the printer is usb...not parallel. I need to send a print job directly to LPT1. I have the printer plugged into the usb port on the PC...and the printer does not have a parallel port.

What he was referring to was an adapter that you plug the USB cable from the printer into which then plugs into the parallel port on the PC. Like a ps2 to serial adapter for mice.
