MAP-D PCMCIA slots - are they seperate or common?

In other words, if you have an 8MB card in the right slot and you add an 8MB card in the left slot, do you get 16MB? Or, are they seperate?

Answer is NO

pcmcia card slot only use for upgrade , backup ,or maintenance use.

and the pc card must special format .
