Manually switch 8700 media servers

Hi,

When forcing an interchange on live server to backup server is this seamless and do anyone know of any issues that occur.

Also last question... am I correct in thinking this can be done by logging onto the server, checking the force interchange box and then clicking on interchange?

if everything is healthy, you should not need to check "force interchange", it will do it on its own.

You might lose calls being setup, that is calls that are offhook and the user is dialing a phone number. Other than that it should be seemless.
