I now get C1003 Ambiguous reference warnings for all the manafest constants that are referenced either with the #DEFINE statement with in the program or referenced in #INCLUDE files.

I am running under Windows 2000. My environment is correctly configured. A co-worker is able to compile without error on his Windows 2000 machine.

I got the same problem whrn compiling a different program that compiled with out problems last week.

Dear EJ;

The environment is the problem, you have lost your path settings that point to your include files, and probably the libs as well. Drop out of your editor into a DOS box and type "set" to see the environment. Look for your environ vars--Obj, Lib, Inc, and also the path.

Regards,
David Tracy.

Thank's for the response Tracy. It turnes our that some of the text was run through some kind of a source code formatter and it rendered this section in all lower case. This section of code was boiler plate and used in many other of our programs so I diodn't suspect any problems in that area.

The other programmer compiled the code with warnings turned off so the compile and link appeared to work from his machine. But, when you ran the app then came the undefine variable errors.
