I don't know if this is possible, but I need to make a roaming or mandatory profile. This shouldn't be a problem, but I have some machines with different local programs that are needed to be used, so if I had shortcuts in the profile they wouldn't work on all machines.
Does anyone know how to make a profile that could use different programs for all users on different machines.
I hope this makes sense.
Many thanks
Glyn

Hi,

Do you mean that the local programs are in different directories on different machines?

The machine have different programs installed. For example one may have MS Office & the usual Windows progs (Notepad etc) & another could have MS Office & Paintshop pro.
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks
Glyn

You'd have to install the software on each physical machine the person is using. If that is not an option due to licensing, you could install the software on a machine and allow users to terminal service / remote desktop into to use specific applications.
