I want to make a document, it's a contract, and where we leave a space and an underscore to hand write the name in, i want to make into a field of some sort where i can just type in the name, and not have to reformat the document or delete anything else to make it look like it did.

Hi special,

Try using Form Fields. The Forms Toolbar can be added to your toolbar by right-clicking in the toolbar and selecting the Forms.

Position your cursor within your document where you want a Form Field.

Select the Form Field that you want.

Right click on the inserted Form Field to edit it's properties.

After all the fields have been added, Lock the Document using the Forms Toolbar Protect Document icon.

You can tab from Form Field to Form Field.

Hope this helps :-)
