Hello
The web site I have developed requires the flash player version 6. Can someone tell me the best way to test if a user has it installed and how best to integrate it into a site. The way my site is currently set up is with a html entrance page which then leads to the flash site when the user clicks on enter. Where is the best place to test for the player?
Finally - my main reason for the post is - is there a way to make the progress of the download for the flash player visible. Im using WinXP and a broadband connection and when I download the player it all happens in a few seconds. What worries me is that 56k modem users will have to wait for a few minutes with nothing happening on screen and no indication of how the download is going - not many people are going to wait around while nothing happens. Is there a way to make the download progress of the player visible.
Thanks for any help
Paul.
