Hi,

I was wondering how I can set the default value of a textbox to ". If I put that in, it gives me an error. Even if I put """ it still gives me an error.

How can I do this?

Thank you

If you put just two double-quotes together ("") it should work.

Maybe I misinterpreted what you want. Are you trying to set the default to:

* a single quote?
* two single quotes?
* a double quote?
* an empty (zero-length) string?

If you want a single quote, put it between two double quotes ("'").

If you want two single quotes, do the same thing but with two single quotes in between the double quotes.

If you want a single double-quote, put it between single quotes ('"').

If you want an empty (zero-length) string just put two double quotes together ("").

Sorry for not responding.

Yes,

"If you want a single double-quote, put it between single quotes ('"')."

That is what I needed thanks.

"=Chr(34)"

I would imagine that would work too!

Thank you
