Making PO in non-funtional currency

Hi

Can we select a different currency than default functional currency while making a new PO. Multicurrency is already setup.
How will it effect the unit rate of IC Items Received. Any help Please.

PO's are done the in vendor's currency, you cannot select the currency itself.

Do we have to make ACTIVE multicurrency in AP SETUP.

Yes you do, otherwise you cannot set up vendors with MC.
