I have a movie clip, which is has two buttons in it. One makes the movie clip play normal, but I want to make the other button make the clip play backward.

Select your symbol from the library, right click, duplicate, and rename. Now you will see the new movie clip, which is a copy of the other in the library. Double click on it to edit. Select all the frames in the timeline. When you have all the frames black, right click and select Reverse Frames. This will reverse the actions in the frames so you might want to check this. Now you can either insert this backward movie in a new frame in the scene or you could put it on top of the other and change the visibility with the actionscripting depending on the button that the user presses.

With frames: Just call a different frame depending on the button. FORWARD calls Frame1 and BACKWARDS calls Frame2

I hope that helps, if not LET ME KNOW.

Fernando Regueiro
ferhelping@yahoo.com
