Making complex database searches easyer 1

I've created an faq with a simple 4 parameter search example.

The code there it's demonstrative will work only in proper enviroment and with aditional code.
Query code was made for SQL sintax. It can be done easy for any other SQL sintax( Access,Mysql,Postgres,Oracle...)

Any questions post here and i'll improve the faq.

I like the SQL build shaddow!

Surprisingly how you hardly see developers think of using builds like that. instead they common pull their hair out trying to retain one value through the process and conditioning.

Thanks Onpnt, i just used that ideea in a couple of portals i'm working atm.

I'll make few more faq's with some ideeas that i'm using which will improve the programing speed of that page.

that is the one thing I have heard can degrade speed on the build (multiple concat's) I've never personally seen it much of a efficiency problem and have worked on fairly large string to SQL builds in this fashion though.

I believe there was a thread not some time ago on time tests regarding concatenations. maybe I'll take a gander and see if I can find it.

Yes i've read that thread.
Anyway i was not refering for that particular pag but for other pages that someone might encounter, like database admin pages.
