Making an unknown field "known"

I'm having some trouble doing anything with a field that wasn't used when initially creating the form. I remember this being not only possible, but relatively easy to do.


I recall using table.field as the control source working just fine, although I could be mistaken. I have several controls on my form using this already, and they work fine, but for whatever reason, trying to make a new one results in #name?.

What can I do about this?

Ah, disregard, just had to add it to the record source in the form properties.

Still, I don't recall ever having to do that in the past, but it's been a while.
