Making an automated message appear

Hi

I am going on holiday soon and wish to make an automated email get sent to anyone who emails me - just something stating that I am on holiday and will reply when I get back. Please can anyone tell me how to set up an automated response/email reply in Outlook? I have Outlook 2000, and my operating system is Windows 2000.

Have you got the Out of Office assiatnt installed under your Tools menu? That will do the job for you.
