I have a program that will not run unless the screen res is at least 1024x768. I use a screen res of 800x600. Anybody know of a way to make the shortcut to the .EXE change the screen resolution for me automatically?

Thanks,

I can't give an answer to your question, but many graphics cards put an icon in the system try that allows you to change the resolution in just 1 or 2 clicks. If your graphics card driver doesn't have this, maybe there's some shareware available that will do the same.

Thanks Smah, I found a program called Qres at it is free, it adds a tab to the properties sheet of icons. You can run any icon in any mode and when it is done it restores the resolution back to it's normal state. Very useful!!
