Making a combobox editable / appendable

Hi - I have a form with a combobox on it that has as it's record source a stored procedure. I want to make the combobox appendable - so if the item the user wants isn't in the list they can add it, but I can't see a setting to allow me to do this. At the moment I can type in the box but it doesn't store it anywhere.

Can anyone help?
