hi
is there anyway to get windows 98 to start programs that i want to run but always have to do manually. i just want them to begin on startup and not have to remember to load them

thanx in advance :)

allister:

If you click Start>Programs you will see an entry called StartUp. Just place a shortcut to each of the programs you want in there and they will load each time you start your computer.

For added productivity, when you see the entry Startup:

right click on it and select 'OPEN' or 'EXPLORE'.

This opens your Startup Folder from which you can add or delete shortcuts.

Note: You can right click on the individual shortcuts to delete or drag and drop a shortcut out of the Startup Folder.
