I run a simply select (Make Table) query. the table is created. When I go to save the query I get the 3011 error.

"The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object <TableName>. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly. (Error 3011)"

The table is right there on the screen with the correct name.

I don't get it?

Thanks . . .

Could you share your SQL view? Do you get similar error messages with other table names?

Thanks Dhookom . . .

It appears that Access will not allow me to save a query and a table with the same name - even though they are diffeent objects!

Take a look at my Query Prodedural Problem question next to this question in the forum will you.

Thanks . . .

There would be a real mess if queries and tables could have the same name.
