Make Table Query - naming tables

I have a make table query that takes a snapshot of dynamic data. I need to be able to compare the data over different periods such as a week/month/year.

Is there anyway to create the make table query to be named with the date as part of the table name eg tbl-info010905?

you'll have to use code to either generate the sql statement or to edit the querydef's sql property

Maybe that is possible, but isn't it easier to add a field in the table to mark the records that you would like to compare?
