Make available offline greyed out!!

We have recently upgraded out OS to XP, and apart from several other teething problems, when I right click on a file or folder for one of our users the Make available offline option is greyed out.

I have changed this option in the folder option of My Computer, but it appears not to have made a difference. She is in the same user group and has the same permissions as everybody else, yet this setting is different.
